Therapy Options
Not sure which one’s right for you? That’s completely normal, and you don’t need to work it out alone. Nicola will be your first point of contact. She will talk you through the options before you begin and help you to choose the format and the therapist that fits you best.
Individual CBT
One-to-one sessions with a single therapist, focused entirely on you. This is the most familiar format for Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and gives you space to work through things at your own pace, privately. Available online only.
Group CBT
Sessions delivered in a group format, with one or two therapists supporting up to eight clients. You’ll work through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) alongside others facing similar challenges, guided by your therapists throughout.
Available online or face-to-face in London and York.
Hybrid CBT
A combination of one-to-one and group sessions, bringing together the focus of individual therapy with the shared experience of group work. This option is designed to give you the benefits of both formats.
Available online or face-to-face in London and York.
A note on sessions:
As part of standard training practice, some sessions may be recorded. This allows Dr Walker and other supervisors to review sessions to help your therapist-in-training develop CBT competencies under close clinical supervision. You will always be asked for your consent before any recordings take place, and no session will be recorded without it. If you’d rather not be recorded, that’s entirely your choice, and it will not affect the therapy you receive.
To find out more about how we handle recordings and protect your privacy, please see our Privacy Policy.
Fees
We’ve kept our pricing simple and upfront, so there are no surprises before you start. Please note that your sessions must be paid for in advance.
Keeping our fees low is central to what we do. It means CBT remains within reach, whatever your circumstances
